Descriptionzoomorphic perforated maul of dark grey stone. the bacck of the stone has two bulbous eyes and wide thick lips carved on its face. the bottom of the maul, depressed below the lips, is flat. the flat bottom forms a rough right angle to the side opposite to the face. a hole 3 cm. in diameter perforates through one side of the maul and out the other. the flat head of the maul, oppposite the face, was the side used for hammering.
